January: (9) Rita reminisces about Stefania Rotolo (1951-1981) to Paola Perego and Simona Ventura at RAI-2 TV programme 'Citofonare'. Miss Rotolo danced as a Colletine along side the Collettoni their male counterpart who supported Rita at RAI TV's top-rating 'Stasera: RITA!' in 1965.
February: (8) Rita gives a long interview to Massimiliano "Max" Ungaro of 'Il Bosco dei Sogni' (Radio Gamma 5) about her career as an international singer in the past 60 years. Castro co-produced with Giorgio Merk "Niente (Resilienza 74)", her 2020 entry at San Remo. They were filmed in Como, a resort town a few days after the Festival. She gives her impressions about her performance and her plans to come back to San Remo saying "-Mai dire mai." ("-Never say never."); (23) Rita sings "I'll be there" in a duet with Anna Tatangelo at 'Michelle Impossible' (Canale 5 TV) a variety show presented by Michelle Hunziker; (27) Rita and 1960s heartthrob Fausto Leali are interviewed by Silvia Toffanin at 'Verissimo' (Canale 5 TV). They reminisce about their careers. September: (24) Amadeus 'Arena Suzuki '60, '70, '80 e... '90!' (RAI-1 TV) taped at Arena di Verona on 13 September is broadcast today. Rita sings "Il geghegè", "Datemi un martello", "ll ballo del mattone" and "Cuore"/"Heart". Still on the 13 Rita is interviewed by Ema Stokholma at RAI Radio 2; By Matolas' podcast Hit Chart Top 20 and finally by EG Magazine's Enrica Giannini.
November: (1) Rita as a special guest in 'Storie della TV - Antonello Falqui' (RAI Cultura - Canale 54 TV) with a little help from Aldo Grasso, reminisces about Antonello Falqui (1925-2019) a pioneer at RAI TV who was instrumental in creating 'Studio Uno' and 'Canzonissima'; (3) Rita talks about her personal and artistic life to Salvo Sotille at 'I Fatti Vostri' (RAI-2 TV). As the host asks Rita to sing "Il geghegè", she flatly rejects it and sings a few bars of "Moon river" declaring she'd only sing songs she really likes.

In a full page she tells how she still regrets not having stayed back in the USA in 1964, for her father wouldn't allow it; (16) Rita talks for 5 minutes to Bruno Vespa's 'Cinque Minuti' (RAI-1 TV) about her career and her new tournée.
July: (4) Rita talks extensively online to Francesco Raiola's Fanpage.it - where she claims she's not a Fascist for she has always sung about progressive issues. Getting closer to her 80th year, Rita prepares herself for a tournée, talks about being a singer-song-writer, about love and San Remo; (5) Italian daily Il Resto del Carlino publishes a long interview with Rita entitled 'Sessent'anni con Rita: "Mi regalo un tour"' (Sixty years with Rita: "I give myself a new tournée"). On the very same day (5), Rita starts her tournée 'Un Piede nel Passato e lo Sguardo Dritto e Aperto nel Futuro' in Predappio (Forlì-Cesena) at Teatro Comunale; (6) Concert at Piazza Garibaldi in Cervia; (9) Concert at Castello Sforzesco in Milan (the tournée will resume on August 10); (25) Illustrated magazine SMS NEWS SpettacoloMusicaSport, #31, shows Rita's face on the cover with a long interview inside where she claims 'Sono una persona entusiasta e mi diverte mettermi sempre in gioco' (I'm a passionate person who likes to be in the game); (29) Women's weekly magazine F, #30, publishes a two-page interview where Rita reminisces about her romance with her future husband and says: 'Che gran figo mio marito Teddy Reno' (What a great man my husband is).

October: (8) Rita sings "Niente (Resilienza 74)", "Il geghegè", "Datemi un martello" and "Il ballo del mattone" at 'Caduta Libera - I Migliori' (Canale 5 TV), presented by Gerry Scotti; (31) Rita is hosted by Pierluigi Diaco at his 'Bella Ma'' (RAI-2 TV) who dedicates the whole programme to her. At the same event, Rita is bestowed an award for her 60-year-career Premio Alla Carriera plus Premio Pigro, a statuette of Ivan Graziani, made by painter and sculptor Marco Lodola; (17) Still celebrating her 60-year-career, Rita performs at the final concert of 'Fiera Natale', at Palazzo dei Congressi, in Gagliari (Sardegna).
