'CLÉMENTINE CHÉRIE' (France [1963])

Sinopse: Clémentine, filha de Gaston Bellus um funcionário de uma fábrica de tecidos deve desfilar, em maiô, um novo tecido que absorve raios solares. O tecido, porém, fica transparente ao ser fotografado. Rita Pavone aparece rapidamente - na cena de uma festa no novo apartamento de Clémentine e seus pais - na canção título, dublada em francês por Ginette Garcin.

Nota: Neste filme, Rita Pavone canta "Clémentine chérie" (original em italiano) dublada em francês posteriormente. A dublagem é outra canção com outro texto. Não é de autoria de Camucia e Tallino, presente no LP "RITA PAVONE" (seu primeiro LP), mas um twist com base na "Marcha turca" de Mozart. Teddy Reno aparece como o pianista que a acompanha na festa de Clémentine. Em novembro de 2010, da série francesa Les Films du Collectionneur, 'CLÉMENTINE CHÉRIE' foi lançado em DVD (1003061), por L.C.J. Éditions & Productions.

Synopsis: Clémentine who is the daughter of Gaston Bellus an employee in a textile mill is scheduled to model a swim-suit made out of a new fabric that obsorbs sun rays. But such fabric becomes invisible when photographed which entails a lot of interesting situations. Rita Pavone shows up at a dancing party thrown by Clémentine and her parents, where she lip-synches the title-song pre-recorded by French singer Ginette Garcin.

Note: Rita Pavone appears in the French original film singing a French-language version of the song of same name. It is plain to see that the French words were dubbed over Rita's performance of the Italian song written by Camucia & Tallino. It is an intirely different song based mainly in Mozart's "Turkish march" and sung by a French singer. Teddy Reno, Rita Pavone's real manager is seen playing the piano in the background. The 1963 French film 'CLÉMENTINE CHÉRIE' was released in DVD format (1003061) in November 2010 as part of the series Les Films du Collectionneur by L.C.J. Éditions & Productions.

'CLEMENTINE CHERIE ...TUTTA SEXY!' (France/Italia [1963])

Nota: Com a mesma direção, cast e enredo do filme original, a versão italiana de 'CLÉMENTINE CHÉRIE' inicia com Rita Pavone acompanhada de I Collettoni na canção título, enquanto os créditos da película são apresentados. Em seguida, ela dirige-se à câmera e começa contar a eles o filme. Rita, na verdade, faz o papel do narrador francês, no filme original. As cenas da festa no apartamento de Clémentine, são as mesmas do original francês, assim como a gravação original de "Clementine chérie", interpretada por Rita. Mais adiante, inserida na trama italiana do filme (muito provavelmente filmada nos estúdios da RAI, em Roma), Rita aparece novamente dirigindo-se à câmera, onde aparecem I Collettoni e ela começa a cantar "Pel di carota", acompanhada do jovem conjunto musical Claudio and his Jaguars. Nas cenas finais do filme, Rita , mais uma vez dirigi-se à câmera e diz aos Collettoni ter uma surpresa. Enquanto ela canta "Clémentine chérie", surge a atriz France Anglade, que dubla um trecho da canção. A post-production italiana não só foi permitida pelos franceses, mas ainda foi prestigiada com a presença da atriz francesa nos estúdios da RAI, onde ela participa do final da versão italiana do filme. 'CLEMENTINE CHERIE' foi editado em DVD na Itália, em 2021, por Sinister Film (8 056351 621830).

Note: The Italian version of the French movie has a few different segments. Rita Pavone sings the Italian version of "Clémentine chérie" at the opening while the credits are shown. Then, she takes the role of the original French narrator and starts telling the plot to I Collettoni, a group of young dancers and singers who used to back her up at Studio Uno (1963) a top Italian TV show. When it comes to the party at Clémentine's apartment Rita sings the song with its original Italian lyrics. Later on, the Italian crew inserted a different musical number, "Pel di carota", which she sings as if they were in a dancing party with I Collettoni doing the twist. Rita is acompanied by Claudio and his Jaguars. At the very end, Rita  comes back and tells I Collettoni and Le Collettine that she's got a surprise for them, which turns out to be France Anglade in person who sings a few bars of the main song. These added inserted scenes must have been filmed at RAI in Rome. 'CLEMENTINE CHERIE' in DVD format was released in Italy, in 2021, by Sinister Film (8 056351 621830).

'RITA, LA FIGLIA AMERICANA' (Italia [1965])

Sinopse: Rita D'Angelo, uma jovem sobrevivente de um terremoto ocorrido no Chile, é adotada, na Itália, por Serafino Benvenuti (um "matto" maestro de música sinfônica), que incumbe à "rígida" educadora alemã Greta Wagner que aprimore a educação da filha adotiva. Porém, Rita, apaixona-se por Fabrizio Carli, dono de 'Tomato Club', um dance-club localizado em frente a sua casa e onde a banda inglesa The Rokes apresenta-se todas as noites, para desespero de Serafino. Final feliz para Rita e Fabrizio, com o maestro Benvenuti aderindo ao yeh-yeh-yeh. Rita Pavone canta "Somigli ad un'oca" (Your baby's gone surfin'), "Solo tu", "Cuore", "Plip", "Lui", "Stasera con te". The Rokes cantam "Take a look", "No, no, no", "Grazie a te" (I'm alive), "The wind will carry them by", "A thing like that". Fabrizio Capucci canta "Un ragazzo diverso". Totò canta "Malvagità ("Crudele")".

Nota: Por insensibilidade do diretor, a voz da personagem de Rita Pavone (Rita D'Angelo) foi dublada. A sua voz está presente somente nas canções interpretadas por ela. 'RITA, LA FIGLIA AMERICANA' foi editado em DVD na Itália, em 2010.

Synopsis: Rita D'Angelo, a Chilean young woman made homeless by an earthquake is adopted by Serafino Benvenuti, an Italian classical music maestro. In order to improve his new ward's education, the old man hires a private tutor from the old school in the person of Greta Wagner, a German spinster who is very conservative. Rita, however, falls in love with Fabrizio Carli the owner of 'Tomato Club' a dance-club just across the street from where the Rokes, a loud English rock band play every night making Serafino's life a hell. In the end, Serafino gives it all up and joins in with the rock'n'roll crowd and all's well. Rita Pavone sings "Somigli ad un'oca" (Your baby's gone surfin'), "Solo tu", "Cuore", "Plip", "Lui", "Stasera con te". The Rokes sing "Take a look", "No, no, no", "Grazie a te" (I'm alive), "The wind will carry them by", "A thing like that". Fabrizio Capucci sings "Un ragazzo diverso". Totò sings "Malvagità ("Crudele")".

Note: Rita Pavone's speaking parts are dubbed by an Italian actress. Unfortunately, the director didn't realize that Rita's speaking voice was good enough to be heard by millions of Italians. That bad judgement though was rectified in the next few films. 'RITA, LA FIGLIA AMERICANA' in DVD format was released in Italy, in 2010.

'RITA LA ZANZARA' (Italia [1966])

Sinopse: Aluna interna do 'Collegio Maria Adelaide' (educandário feminino de alta classe), Rita Santangelo, é a mais atuante nas travessuras de seu grupo e também no jornalzinho clandestino 'La Zanzara'. Rita descobre que seu sonolento professor de música Paolo Randi, a quem ama sem ele saber, sai às noites do colégio para dançar e cantar em um clube noturno. Disfarçada com uma longa peruca loira ela vai ao clube e sofre ao vê-lo com uma namorada. Porém, ao cantar "Fortissimo", Rita impressiona Paolo que passa a se interessar pela misteriosa garota loira que surge e foge, sem perceber ser ela a sua aluna. No final, Paolo descobre que é Rita a misteriosa garota do clube e lhe declara o seu amor. Rita Pavone canta "La zanzara", "Qui ritornerà!", "Quanto sei antipatico", "Strong love", "I wanna be loved by you" (imitação de Marilyn Monroe), "Fortissimo", "E se domani" (imitação de Mina), "La sai troppo lunga", "Io cerco la Titina" (imitação de 'Carlitos' [Charlie Chaplin]), "Passione", "Chica chica boom chic" (imitação de Carmen Miranda), "Il geghegè". Synopsis: Rita Santangelo is a boarding student in an expensive prep-school who's the leader of a pack of spoiled brats who also prints an underground news rag titled 'The Mosquito' ('La Zanzara'). Rita soon finds out that Paolo Randi, her ever sleepy music teacher leads a double life going out every night to sing rock'n'roll in a smoke-filled night club. Rita, disguised as a blond in a long wig, follows him one night and finds out that Paolo is not only the leader of the band but to her chagrin has a steady girl friend. Broken hearted but never out  Rita ends up singing "Fortissimo" in the joint, a powerful ballad that has Paolo and everyone else enthralled by such a mysterious blond "angel" with a powerful voice. He wants to know her better but in the best Cinderella tradition Rita always sneaks out at the sound of mid-night. Needless to say that in the end Paolo finds out that his "dream blonde" is none other than one of his day-time students, tells her he loves her and they both live happily together for ever more. Para poder ficar perto de Rita, Paolo passa a frequentar a academia, e novas aventuras acontecem. Final feliz para todos, com Rita, sua mãe e Paolo apresentando-se em show beneficente. Synopsis: Once Rita and Paolo are deeply in love they decide to flee the prep school and go to Rita's father's castle where he keeps a Swiss Guard military academy. In order to stay near Rita, Paolo enrolls as an military apprentice at her father's academy. The father and his three spinster sisters are a very conservative team that keep Rita's mother away from any power in the running of the family affairs. She is confined to taking care of her pet pigeons until Rita comes to her rescue. Rita, Paolo and Mother concoct a big musical show that melts all the hard-hearted people and is a great success. Rita Pavone sings "Questo nostro amore", "La Svizzera", "Non è difficile fare lo shake" (duet with Giulietta Masina), "Una notte intera", "Perché due non fa tre", "Gira gira", "Tu guardi lei", "Non ci sto" (RP sings with Giancarlo Giannini and Carlo Pavone [her brother] backed by J.B., Carlo Pavone's combo), "Sempre più su", "Bye, bye baby", "Balletto degli ombrelli", "È nato un blues"(RP impersonates the great Al Jolson [an act she started doing very early in her career in Turin]), "Gimme some lovin'" (RP emulates the black-girl-group The Supremes).

'LITTLE RITA NEL WEST' (Italia [1967])

Sinopse: No velho oeste, vinda não sabendo-se de onde, Little Rita tem como amigos o fiel companheiro Francis Gross e o chefe apache Bisonte Seduto. Ágil e precisa no gatilho, ela elimina Ringo que estava tirando a paz da vila local e de seu medroso xerife. Também liquida Django, outro bandido que apareceu por lá. Quando surge o forasteiro Black Star, Little Rita apaixona-se por ele. Auxiliada por Black Star e Francis Gross, ela acaba com Sancho e seu bando. Ao tentar apoderar-se do ouro que os índios escondem em uma caverna próxima à aldeia deles, Black Star é descoberto e Bisonte Seduto o condena à morte. Little Rita intercede ao amigo apache pela vida de Black Star por ele a ter salvado de Sancho e por ter arrependido-se da tentativa de roubar o ouro. Seu pedido é aceito. Os índios dinamitam a caverna soterrando para sempre todo o ouro e a paz volta a reinar entre todos. Nessa mesma noite quando brilha no céu uma estrela vermelha, Little Rita despede-se de seus amigos e cavalga rumo ao desconhecido. Black Star, apaixonado por ela, a segue. Synopsis: Mitic Little Rita wanders into the wild old West where she's on a friendly basis with Francis Gross and Sitting Bison (Bisonte Seduto), the local Indian chief. Quick at the trigger Little Rita kills Ringo and Django, desperadoes who bullied the town with its coward sheriff. When handsome Black Star strutts in she falls desperately in love with him and with his help she clears up the town off Sancho and his bad men. Later on, Black Stars falls into the temptation of stealing the gold stashed away by the Indians in a deep cavern. He's caught red-handed and given a death sentence by the Indians but Little Rita intercedes and gets him released. The Indians finally decide to blow up the cavern and all its gold and Peace returns again. In the end Little Rita rides her stead into the unkown followed now by her beau. 'LA FELDMARESCIALLA' (Italia [1967])

Sinopse: Em julho de 1944, durante a ocupação nazista em Florença (Itália), a jovem Rita provoca sem querer uma chuva artificial que desperta a cobiça dos nazistas pelo fenômeno, pondo em risco o seu inventor, o também jovem professor de química Giuliano Fineschi, a quem ela ama. Para ser salvo, Rita e Giuliano fogem na companhia do major Bill Hocks da Força Aérea americana. Perseguidos por oficiais da SS (o capitão Hans Vogel e seu assistente vesgo Fritz - ambos trapalhões -, e ainda pelo major Kurt von Baum só preocupado com que seu carro Mercedes-Benz [último tipo] esteja sempre impecável), todos envolvem-se em muitas confusões. Vinte e três anos depois: Rita e Giuliano, já casados, comentam o sucesso da filha (idêntica à mãe quando jovem) na TV como cantora. Rita Pavone canta "Pippo non lo sa", "Camminando sotto la pioggia", "Rosamunda", "Un, due, tre (Se marci insieme a me)", "Non dimenticar le mie parole", "Il geghegè" (trecho e só voz).

Nota: 'LA FELDMARESCIALLA', com o título 'A GRANDE FUGA', foi exibido no Brasil, no final dos anos 70, com cenas inteiras e todos os números musicais cortados, o que tornou o filme quase que incompreensível. 'LA FELDMARESCIALLA' foi editado no Brasil (1990 e 2004), em VHS, com o título 'TRINITY VAI À GUERRA' em ambos os anos. O nome 'Trinity' - personagem do ator Terence Hill -, no título do filme, foi dado devido à sua popularidade na série de películas que interpretou como tal. Em DVD, este filme, foi lançado na: França (2004) com o título 'LA GROSSE PAGAILLE'; Itália (2006 e 2010); Alemanha (2008) com o título 'ETAPPENSCHWEINE' e (2011 e 2015) com o título 'DIE HELDEN DER KOMPANIE'; Espanha (2017) com o título 'LA SUPERJUERGA'.

Synopsis: It is 1944 with the Nazis occupying Florence. Rita is in love with Giuliano Fineschi, a young science teacher who inadvertently discovers how to make artificial rain. Captain Hans Vogel, his cross-eyed sidekick Fritz and major Kurt von Baum the local Nazis in charge try to arrest the young scientist who immediately flee with Rita. There is a chase now with Kurt von Baum riding his much beloved Mercedes Benz in pursuit of the couple and their friend US major Bill Hocks. This chase takes them everywhere and a lot of hilarious scenes happen on the way. Rita and Giuliano eventually get married and have a daughter who twenty three years later is a famous TV singer. Rita Pavone sings "Pippo non lo sa", "Camminando sotto la pioggia", "Rosamunda", "Un, due tre (Se marci insieme a me)", "Non dimenticar le mie parole", "Il geghegè" (only parts of it in off).

Note: In Brazil, 'LA FELDMARESCIALLA' was released in the late 1970s, titled 'A GRANDE FUGA' (The Great Escape) with not only all its musical numbers cut out but whole scenes edited out which made it out-of-character. 'LA FELDMARESCIALLA' was released in Brazil as 'TRINITY VAI À GUERRA' (Trinity Goes to War) in 1990 and again in 2004 in VHS format. It was a way to cash in on the popularity of 'Trinity', a character played by Terence Hill in a series of spaghetti-westerns in the 1970s. The film was also released in DVD format in: France (2004) as 'LA GROSSE PAGAILLE' (The Great Confusion); Italy (2006 and again in 2010); Germany (2008) as 'ETAPPENSCHWEINE' (Stage Swine) and (2011 and again 2015) as 'DIE HELDEN DER KOMPANIE' (The Heroes of the Company); Spain (2017) as 'LA SUPERJUERGA' (The Super Party).

Synopsis: 'LA PIÙ BELLA COPPIA DEL MONDO' (The Most Beautiful Couple in the World) is about MCs Walter and Paola, "the most beautiful couple in the world" who compere Cantagiro's 1967 edition, its 6th year. The contestants in the competition are shown in flashes throughout the film. Rita Pavone shielded by policemen greets an excited crowd of fans. Procurando ser atropelada por um automóvel, ela conhece Ettore Baudolino - filho do rico comendador Vespasiano Baudolino - que quase a atinge e eles apaixonam-se à primeira vista. 'Mimma' tenta a carreira de artista, mas é aconselhada a desistir pelo professor Savoia que, no passado, por esse motivo, perdera a mulher amada. Seguindo os conselhos do amigo, Guglielmina casa com Ettore. Rita Pavone canta "Sono proprio uno schianto", "Sei già lì", "Nata ieri".

Nota: A realização do filme 'DUE SUL PIANEROTTOLO', deve ao sucesso obtido no ano anterior (1975), como comédia teatral e também com Erminio Macario e Rita Pavone, seus principais atores. No cinema, 'DUE SUL PIANEROTTOLO' foi êxito de bilheteria. Este é último filme em que Rita Pavone atuou.

Synopsis: Young hopeful Guglielmina Castigliano, known as 'Mimma', arrives at "Pensione Butterfly", in Rome in search of a Professor Martinelli to evaluate her artistic merits. In a typical case of mistaken identity, 'Mimma', instead breaks into her song-and-dance routines to Professor Luigi Savoia, an old guitar player who lives at the same pension. After realizing her mistake 'Mimma' gets depressed and attempts against her own life throwing herself on the path of an oncoming car that's being driven by Ettore Baudolino, son of a rich landowner. He stops the car in the nick of time and both fall in love instantly. 'Mimma' still wanting to reach for the footlights is dissuaded by Professor Savoia who tells her he’d lost the love of his life trying to be famous in show business. Following her friend's advice, 'Mimma' marries Ettore and both live happy ever after. Rita Pavone sings "Sono proprio uno schianto", "Sei già lì", "Nata ieri".

Note: 'DUE SUL PIANEROTTOLO' (Two at the Stairway Landing) was such a hit in 1975 that the theater producers of the play decided to make it into a film in 1976 with the same original cast, Erminio Macario and Rita Pavone. It was a big box-office hit as a movie too. This is the last film in which Rita Pavone acted.
